Visa Cardholders - Changes to our ‘Verified by Visa’ service
In an effort to improve your online shopping experience and security, our current ‘Verified by Visa’ service will change from the existing static password solution to One-Time Passcode (OTP) authentication. This took effect as from 20th February 2018.
Our current solution allows you to complete an online transaction with ‘Verified by Visa’ participating merchants using a password you created at the time of registration for this service. With the new OTP solution, you will be required to enter a six-digit code that you will receive via SMS or Email.
We will use the contact mobile telephone number and/or Email address held in our records for this purpose. If you have recently changed contact details or think we may not have these on file, please let us know as soon as possible.
Cards will continue to work as usual at sites that have not yet adopted the ‘Verified by Visa’ service.
