Jyske Bank's history

Jyske Bank A/S was founded on 7 July 1967 following the merger of four banks in Central Jutland. The Bank became a nationwide bank in 1981.

Jyske Bank Private Banking comprises the following units

The Copenhagen office was opened in 1966 by Finansbanken and taken over by Jyske Bank in 1981.

For 25 years, Jyske Bank has been represented in Hamburg. Since 2011, we have offered our clients access to the private-banking market from our office in Hamburg.

The Gibraltar office was founded by A.L. Galliano Bankers Ltd., Gibraltar's oldest family-owned bank dating back to 1855. In 1987, the bank was taken over by Jyske Bank and acts both as a local Gibraltar bank and as an international private banking entity.
